2008 a Look into the FUTURE

I found this gem via Digg tonight, from the Nov. 1968 Mechanics Illustrated magazine a look “40 Years Into The Future.” It’s such an optimistic view of the world of “tomorrow” that looking around at what we’ve got really kind of sucks. I guess I’m giving up too soon on 2008, I mean the year ain’t over yet. There’s still time for us to get a 4 hour work day and flying cars… RIGHT?
