Cast List revealed for Justice League: New Frontier
As mentioned before on this site, DC Comics is going to be creating an animated adaption of Darwyn Cooke’s New Frontier limited series. The full cast list was revealed in the Toonzone forums:
Neil Patrick Harris/The Flash-Barry Allen
David Boreanaz/Green Lantern-Hal Jordan
Brooke Shields/Carol Ferris
John Heard/Ace Morgan
Miguel Ferrer/Martian Manhunter-John Jones
Jeremy Sisto/Batman
Phil Morris/Faraday
Kyra Sedgwick/Lois Lane
Kyle MacLachlan/Superman
Lucy Lawless/Wonder Woman
Having recognizable names for the voice-work might help out with sales and marketing, a part of me wishes we had more exclusive voice actors with range shown by some of the former greats. Nowadays the only person that comes to mind that fits in this category is Billy West of Ren & Stimpy and Futurama fame.
I’m excited about this story coming to DVD. More excited then I was about the Superman: Doomsday movie. The difference here is I really loved the original source material. I’m actually concerned they won’t be able to fit in aspects of the original story that I’d like to see, such as the John Henry storyline. I will picking this up when it comes out. If they do a good job on this movie, I’d love to see them do an adaption of Kingdom Come or Red Son.

I’m glad to see who fills out the rest of the cast for the new JL: New Frontiers. I was really excited to see new animated JL material especially with Lucy Lawless and David Boreanaz. I checked out the New Frontiers graphic novels from the library to get caught up. Thanks for the info.
KINGDOM COME would be choice #1 obviously, but there are others I respectfully and humbly ask you to consider:
ZERO HOUR, KNIGHTFALL, REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN,
DC-vs-MARVEL, DC ONE MILLION, TANGENT,
There are of so many other wonderfully written and otherwise rendered story lins in D.C (Crises on Infinite Earths for example or The one obout “The Source” From “The Wall” near New Genisis whose story name I cannot recall or the one where Braniac future virus truns Metropolis in a future city Plus many sory lines that were not so grandiose- a stroy arc of only a few monthlies which add up to A story name but usualy just involve the one monthly; “New World Order” by the Justice League, “Prodigal” which was a Batman arc where Nightwing temporarily assumed the cotume and Mantle af the Batman….these go on and but suffice to say they exist in every title you have, often, from the Flash to Sandman ( and what about a Vertigo movie like Morpheus? just a thought.
Finaly(and if you have read this far I want to thank you for your patience and courtesy to your favorite reader) There the story ideas shared individualy by but by all title usualy in your anual some years, The vey best I feel was the Birth of what is now a D.C regular event know as “ELSEWORLDS.” There have been others, BLOODLINES and so forth but sifting through these wouls take a hundreth the time as the mini story arcs that exest in a=every title idea from my previous paragraph. The former and the latter whover can be searched quickly simply I would imagine but comparing sales in order just to shorten your list considerably. This would do two thing else (other than shortening the list) it would by virtue of high sales give you an idea of stories wherin the quality was often high, and tell what were some fan favourites. After that just as with the Title Ideas like Nightfall and Zero Hour I listed at the begining of the novella I wrote to you, once narrowed to a few stories- just choose the one which will best translate on screen (ask some like Bruce Timm, he would know certainly.)
Well thanks for listening, if I in some small way can contribute to your final decision (Don’t tell me because of the legal ramafications, I don’t want you to have to owe me money or anything) then simply having done that even if I don’t even know would be thanks enough.
P.S. You will hear my name again beacuse as soon as Asimoz or some Mag decides to publish my little tale, Then I will be, through my agent sending ideas and proposals to a few of your editors. I love comics, and I especially adore D.C,
